During his wide-ranging discussion with hosts Ainsley Earhardt, Steve Doocy and Brian Kilmeade, Mr. Trump discussed the ongoing impeachment-inquiry Witch Hunt, the 2020 presidential race, the pending USMCA trade deal before Congress and other topics. The President also responded to the second week of impeachment hearings, saying:
"The bottom line is, all of those witnesses, they’re all 'Shifty Schiffs.' Don’t forget, there was no due process. You can’t have lawyers. We couldn’t have any witnesses. We want to call the whistleblower [to testify]."
He also dropped a bombshell by declaring, "Frankly, I want a trial."
President Trump went on to talk about the current state of the GOP. "The Republican party has never been more unified -- both the Senate and the House," he explained. "The Democrats are lousy politicians. They have lousy policy, but they stick together -- and they're vicious. They're more vicious, frankly. But the Republicans have a tendency to break up. The Republicans, I've never seen anything like it, they're sticking together."
