Trump: "I want a trial"
This morning, President Trump gave FOX & friends an unprecedented, call-in interview that lasted more than 53 minutes. Grassfire staff can't remember a similar event in all of television history. Click here or on the image below to watch the interview on Grassfire's "FIGHT THE COUP!" website:
During his wide-ranging discussion with hosts Ainsley Earhardt, Steve Doocy and Brian Kilmeade, Mr. Trump discussed the ongoing impeachment-inquiry Witch Hunt, the 2020 presidential race, the pending USMCA trade deal before Congress and other topics. The President also responded to the second week of impeachment hearings, saying:
What REALLY HAPPENED today in impeachment (We expose the lies!)
PLEASE SHARE THIS WITH EVERY PATRIOTIC AMERICAN!
House Intelligence Committee chairman Adam Schiff (D-CA) is claiming that Democrats now have the SMOKING GUN to impeach President Trump.
Schiff is HIDING THE TRUTH once again!
Here's what REALLY HAPPENED today in the bogus impeachment inquiry...
After not including the most salient fact of his testimony in his 23-page opening statement, Ambassador to the European Union Gordon Sondland revealed during the hearing that President Trump himself told Sondland that, "I want nothing. I want nothing. I want no quid pro quo."

POLL: Should Trump testify?
Day 3 of the public hearings on impeachment was another big win for President Trump. None of the four people who testified Tuesday witnessed any quid pro quo, bribes, extortion or other "high crimes and misdemeanors." House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff's (D-CA) case for removing our duly elected Commander-in-Chief from office gets weaker by the day. Early this week, there was talk of the President testifying before the committee.
On Sunday, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi's (D-CA) told CBS News' "Face the Nation": "The President could come right before the committee and talk, speak all the truth that he wants if he wants to ... or he could do it in writing. He has every opportunity to present his case." President Trump responded on Monday by tweeting: "Even though I did nothing wrong, and don’t like giving credibility to this No Due Process Hoax, I like the idea & will, in order to get Congress focused again, strongly consider it!"

The "Schiff Sham" continues this morning with testimony from an advisor to Vice President Mike Pence and the director of European Affairs for the National Security Council. Week 2 of the House Intelligence Committee's impeachment hearings begins tomorrow morning at 9:00 a.m. ET. That gives you less than 24 hours to reach inside congressional offices in Washington, D.C. and tell lawmakers "I SAY NO ON IMPEACHMENT!"
Wednesday's hearing will feature testimony from Jennifer Williams, an advisor to Vice President Mike Pence, and Lt. Col. Alexander Vindman, director of European Affairs for the National Security Council (NSC). On Twitter yesterday, the President dismissed Williams as one of the "Never Trumpers, who I don’t know & mostly never even heard of."

ABC News released a poll today claiming that 506 people represent 330 million Americans. The left-leaning, Disney-owned network reports:
"An overwhelming 70% of Americans think President Donald Trump’s request to a foreign leader to investigate his political rival ... was wrong. A slim majority of Americans, 51%, believe Trump’s actions were both wrong and he should be impeached and removed from office."

We updated our GOP Wafflers FaxFire last night by adding Sen. John Kennedy (R-LA). Even though he stood with President Trump at a campaign rally on Thursday, Kennedy told CBS News’ "Face the Nation" this week that any quid pro quo related to the Ukrainian controversy was "probably" impeachable.
But the President insists he did NOT tell Ukraine's president in a July phone call that U.S. military aid was contingent on investigating former vice president Joe Biden and his son Hunter. If Kennedy's going to stand with our Commander-in-Chief at a campaign rally, he should take Mr. Trump at his word (or at least read the call transcript) and take a stand AGAINST impeachment.

The "Schiff Sham" rolls on in Washington, D.C. This morning, the House Intelligence Committee held Day 2 of their public hearings aimed at removing a duly elected president from office over a phone call. The impeachment-inquiry Witch Hunt once again proved to be totally baseless and bitterly partisan.
This morning's testimony came from former U.S. Ambassador to the Ukraine, Marie Yovanovitch. President Trump removed her from that diplomatic post after Ukraine's president, reportedly, lost confidence in her. So, the Democrats' third "star witness" of these hearings is a (possibly disgruntled) former employee of the U.S. government.

"The rules of impeachment are very clear. We’ll have to have a trial."
Those are the words of Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY). He spoke them yesterday after reporters asked him about the possibility of dismissing articles of impeachment that could come from the Democrat-led House.
"I don’t think there’s any question that we have to take up the matter," McConnell also said.
Knowing that a Senate trial of President Trump is very likely, conservative patriots who support America's Commander-in-Chief MUST make their voices heard. Grassfire is empowering our team members to contact key Senators who might be "waffling" on impeachment.

The "Schiff Sham" was on full display in our nation's capital today. The impeachment-inquiry Witch Hunt against President Trump finally emerged from the shadows this morning. Not surprisingly, the public hearing by the House Intelligence Committee revealed the totally baseless and bitterly partisan attempts to remove America's duly elected president from office.
Committee Chairman Adam Schiff (D-CA) called William Taylor, the top U.S. diplomat in Ukraine, and Deputy Assistant Secretary of State George Kent to testify in Day 1 of his impeachment hearings. Neither man heard the original phone call Mr. Trump had with Ukraine's then-president elect and testified, mostly, about what they had learned from others. One of the most vocal GOP critics of the Democrats' impeachment efforts, House Republican Whip Steve Scalise of Louisiana, pounced on that fact via Twitter:
