Unfortunately, our source in Washington, D.C. was wrong about the articles of impeachment being released to the Senate yesterday. It didn't happen and, apparently, may not for quite some time.
In a shocking and infuriating revelation, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) reportedly decided to delay the release of the articles NEARLY TWO WEEKS BEFORE the House impeachment vote even took place! A Time magazine article released today explains:
Pelosi, according to an aide, had been mulling the tactic since she heard former Nixon White House counsel John Dean float the idea on CNN on Dec. 5. In the committee meeting, she added that she believed McConnell would be motivated to move. "Somebody said to me today that he may not even take up what we send. [But] then [Trump] will never be vindicated," she said, according to the aide in the room. "He will be impeached forever. Forever. No matter what the Senate does." (Emphasis added.)
This is outrageous! Pelosi's actions and forethought proves what a hoax the impeachment scam really is. The person who's second in line to the presidency is brazenly and openly subverting the Constitution in an attempt to overthrow the results of the 2016 election!
